Hey y'all, check this out: Here are 3 homes that have been on the market over 30 days. As a professional real estate agent, I'll tell you why I think they're great opportunities to buy here in Uptown!

1) 906 Midland in Wilmington. Listed by Kristin Hardy. This house is owned by a wonderful family, who has created a beautiful family home with a large .46-acre lot in Hanover Heights near Shipyard and Carolina Beach Road. This home is a great value because it is over 2400 square feet and has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and again, a .46-acre lot. It can be difficult to find a house on more than .2 acres nowadays... take notice!

2) 3600 Amber Drive. Listed by Tracy Lewchuk. Last week, I had the opportunity to tour this beautiful 3-story home in Oxford Place. Given the location close to shops, Cameron Art Museum, great schools, and the Cross City Trail, this is a terrific family home with incredible walkability scores.

3) 3726 Grantham Court. Listed by Tara English. Just stop what you are doing RIGHT NOW. This home is a gem inside and out. You might have heard small business owners and restaurateurs say this, but with the food and labor crunch right now, I think it's even more true. If you want small, local shops, to exist...you need to choose to spend your money with those folks. Contrary to what people assume, it is we the CONSUMERS that CHOOSE who wins our dollar and therefore...who stays in business.

The reason I'm so passionate about local diners and cafes (well, their food is objectively tastier) is because "Mom and Pop" shops overwhelmingly provide teenagers with their first job to learn and gain experience. Small cafes are integral to developing the Wilmington workforce.

That's why when I'm working and need a lunch break for myself or with my team, I choose a local restaurant.

Last week, I stopped by my favorite place to grab a burger and fries at Winnies Tavern. I love sitting on their back patio on sunny days or sitting inside catching up on sports on the tv inside!

10/10 would recommend.
