People ask me what I love most about real estate. They expect me to say the closings. 🏡

And don’t get me wrong, closing day is everything. There’s nothing like handing over keys to someone who has been searching, and waiting, and hoping, and finally, finally gets to call a place their own.

But my favorite moment isn’t closing day.

It’s six months later. When the text comes in out of nowhere. When someone sends me a photo of their kids running through the backyard, or tells me they’ve already played the course four times this week, or just says “Tory, we’re so happy here.”

That’s why I do this work! I’ve been a part of this community for a long time. As a former golf pro, as a neighbor, as someone who has watched Wilmington grow into one of the most special places on the East Coast. And every time I help someone find their piece of it, I feel that.

Real estate is relationships. It always has been for me. And the relationships that started at a closing table, and kept going long after - those are my favorite ones. 🌊⛳
