I had something weird happen today.

I’m not going to mention any names or even their gender because it’s not important.

I represent some buyers who wanted to buy a house that we toured today. I reached out to the listing agent multiple times. They finally got back to me and were very aggravated that I was bothering them!!?? They told me they don’t work on Sundays. Ok. Can I call you tomorrow? I asked. My clients want to buy your listing. No! I don’t work on Mondays either!! They said.

The house has been on the market almost a year!! What an injustice they are doing to their clients!! I just needed 5 minutes of their time.

We ended up submitting an offer on another property where the listing agent answered my call and was eager to work with me. I just don’t get it! I know I’m a bit of a workaholic because I work 7 days a week, but I think that Realtors should at least work on the weekends when most buyers are available.
