For years I have tried to educate my clients about the appropriate design styles and building techniques your home should have to survive coastal North Carolina. Hurricane Mathew reminds us that on average every 10 to 20 years your house will face hostile elements. It is imperative that your residential structures be hydrodynamic and aerodynamic as well as be constructed with the best building materials and techniques your budget can afford. Your house should be what it is because of where it is, period!
