Patty’s Place is a hidden gem in Pender County! The menu variety is impressive, and I was thrilled to find genuine gluten-free options! The food itself was absolutely amazing, and the service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. Oh, and did I mention they serve coffee? It truly has everything you could want. Highly recommend Patty's Place to anyone looking for a great meal in the area!

If you’ve been thinking about moving to Pender County, here are a few things you should know before you do: 👇

1. The best coffee shop is Brown Dog Coffee Company.

2. The best breakfast/brunch is Patty’s Place

3. The best casual spot for lunch is Bandanas American Grill

4. My fave place to take visitors is the Moores Creek National Battlefield – easy trails, pretty bridges, dog-friendly, and doesn’t take all day.

But I also really need to tell you I am a big fan of the Blueberry Fest in Burgaw… it is HUGE, tons of food, live music, vendors and blueberries, duh! (And it’s hot—this event is in June 😅)

5. If you're a shopper then you must stop by The Old Farm Shed!

I am also a frequent flyer at Burgaw Antique Place, East Coast Collective, and Humphrey Farms.

6. The best hardware store (according to my husband)… is Lanier Hardware

But the thing I love most about Pender County is… you get more for your money.
More space, more privacy, and less HOA!

You can literally see our little town growing… and at a nice steady pace I can appreciate.

- FSBO homes sold for a median of $360,000 vs. $425,000 for agent-assisted sales...an 18% gap. Even after paying commission, agent-represented sellers walked away with ~$40,000 more in net proceeds.

- More than half of FSBO sellers describe the process as stressful. 47% say it brought them to tears. 43% admitted to making legal mistakes.

- 64% of FSBOs say they did not achieve their desired sale price.

- 60% of FSBO sellers already knew their buyer…a family member, friend, or neighbor. Meaning the true cold-market FSBO is even rarer and riskier than the numbers suggest.

10 things you should know before working with me.

1. I always have a coffee/Matcha in my hand… it’s basically a personality trait at this point. ☕️

2. There is always sand in my car…no matter how many times I clean it ️ I’ve accepted my fate.

3. I will 100% miss my turn… even with GPS telling me exactly where to go (if you’re following me for real estate, I might get us both lost lol).

4. My dog runs my life, and I’m ok with that.

5. I love Asian food…specifically curry and pad Thai (I eat it way too often).

6. Mystery/thriller books are my fave…but I always get scared later and think there is something in my house that night.

7. I LOVE singing in the car…but that is a private performance you will never attend.

8. If it’s nice outside, I’m outside ☀️ when it’s cold, I’m not ok.

9. Pilates + walks = me trying to balance out #10.

10. I love sweets, and I’m never too full for dessert.
