Installing an Aquasana whole-home water filtration system always sounds simple until the crawl space gets involved. We added a bypass loop so the system can be serviced without shutting water off to the house, and installed a dedicated drain line for flushing and maintenance. I also managed to run out of PEX-A fittings halfway through, so a few PEX-B fittings got drafted into the game to help finish the job. Not ideal… but the water is filtered and the crawl space workout is complete.

Welcome! I’ll try and keep my dancing to a minimum in these videos/reels but no promises! I love what I do and sometimes I can’t contain myself.

CFR’s sole purpose is to give customers their dream homes however they see fit. I am currently working on my GC license here in NC as I’m relatively new to the area, but I’m through the first phase and hoping to have the second and final phase done in the next two months. Having said that, I am still able to do all kinds of projects, but just can’t do projects larger than $40k. I offer my remodeling services to everyone, but my real estate and remodeling package comes with so many perks and add-ons that I had to create a list (which can be found at www.capefearremodeling.com/realestate) to keep track of them all. I want to cut out the middle man and offer you a service unlike any other.

New builds have lost all credibility, minus a few reputable builders, in today’s age because of the time constraints placed on crews and their overall lack of craftsmanship. Meaning, its quantity over quality to them. It’s now a better investment to buy an older home with a bigger yard that needs some TLC vs new builds who will nickle and dime you all the way to the finish line.
