Michael is the founder, President, and Principal Broker at Maritime Realty in Wilmington, NC. After years of serving his clients while working with traditional real estate firms, Michael saw the need for a brokerage with a lighter footprint that would allow the flexibility to pivot quickly and offer solutions to clients that larger firms aren’t capable of. Michael has extensive experience working
with both buyers and sellers in Southeastern North Carolina. He is dedicated to creating a tailored real estate experience for all his clients. Being an independent broker, he leverages cutting edge marketing solutions to provide his clients with customized results. Clear communication and integrity are two of the defining principles that are key to guiding his clients through a real estate transaction. Michael is an Eastern North Carolina native and moved to Wilmington before his freshman year in high school. After high school he briefly attended UNCW and then enlisted in the US Army to become an Army Deep Sea Diver. After being medically retired from the Army due to a spinal cord injury, he attended UNCW and then transferred to NC State University where he earned a BS in Mathematics. After living in Raleigh, New Hampshire, and the Outer Banks of NC, Michael and his family finally had the opportunity to move back home to Wilmington in 2017. Michael is married to his high school sweetheart and Wilmington native, Sarah. They share their home with two wonderful children, two dogs and a cat. In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, church functions, surfing, golfing, and boating. Michael is currently the Treasurer for St. John’s Episcopal church and is an active church member. He also coaches little league baseball and can often be found giving back to the community he loves in a wide variety of ways.
