Just thought I would share.

I got stuck in South Carolina this weekend. I got news for y’all a cashless society will fall apart without electricity. It gets weird fast. Hotels couldn’t even give me room. They couldn’t even make keys or check the reservation I made online. At the exact time when people needed them the most. I will never leave town without cash. I have a new respect for preppers. They aren’t crazy they are prepared.

I understand that many people will be downloading the COVID19 app. However, if I am one of your "contacts" and you intend on installing the app, "Healthy Together"-- "Trace Together" -- or any similar tracing app, I am respectfully asking you to DELETE ME from your phone contact list, Facebook and Instagram pages PRIOR to installing the app on your Smartphone! The app WILL ask for permission to access your contact list, But NO ONE has my consent to use my name, phone number or any other identifying contact info in connection with these tracking apps which will identify me and locate me without my knowledge or permission. I resist this tracking.
THIS IS A PRIVACY ISSUE NOT A VIRUS ISSUE. THANK YOU.

For you who know me personally.

You know I wasn’t born a US citizen and as such can’t vote
Yet, it is my personal opinion that all the bad press President Trump is receiving lately might be due to the fact that the media is bought and paid for by the elites and democrats supporters ( just remember the government and media being highly involved in the prosecution of the unvaccinated a few years ago)
The pressure those unvaccinated were under was enormous.

In my personal opinion he’s the only one who can pull this country out of the gutter it is currently in.

For all the immigrants out their, that cane into this country in the last 2/3 years, remember, if you haven’t received your green card yet, they only need you for this next upcoming election

Presidents only have a 2 time (8 years max) term, after Novembers election there is a good chance that the democrats will remove you from this country in order to win the votes back from American born citizens

The tide is already turning, there are now limitations and restriction on who can come into the country and soon promises will follow of the removals of foreign criminals that entered this country under false pretense etc. ( while the democrats left the borders open so you could enter) They only need you for 1 more election, that is for this coming November

By the way, I rarely get involved in politics, as I can’t vote, yet this one is to important to let people believe the lies told by the elites, media and government

Do not believe the media lies, remember the media is owned by the elites, and researchers vote 90% percent of the time in favor of the person paying them.

I was at a book store called Second and Charles in Wilmington DE

They purchase used books and DVD , games etc for Pennie’s on the dollar
I was their last week with a box of DVD’s still in the original packaging
The girl behind the book buy back counter informed me that the rules had changed.
the new rules on DVD’s are 10% of the store sales price or $ 0.10 if it’s just a donation( what they still sell)

I informed her that they have never paid me more than $0.10 per DvD
She got mad at me for saying if you pay 10% of the sales price then every Pre-owned DVD only cost $1 right?
She said no, and don’t debate me on this.

I asked her how much 10% of 1 dollar was and she told me she had enough of this and I was no longer welcome in the store as a customer 😆

I purchased the books I wanted as I had a small credit and found out she was a store manager
Here is the incredible part as a.store manager, she had no clue what 10% of $1 was
She was probably in her mid -late 20th

These people are our future work force, that is the scary part

Anyway, there are lots of bookstores and there is always Amazon if I want to purchase a book. I do not need to go to Second and Charles

I would only take in books when I was in the area
25 accepted by them books, cd, games or DVD’s will net you $2,50 ($0.10 cents each)

It was never worth an extra trip
So now I donate my books DVD’s, etc to my buy nothing group, library or goodwill
Just wanted to share what customer service looks like these days in a lot of places

If you find a "dead" hedgehog during the cold months, do not bury it, do not throw it in the trash...

No one wants to see a dead animal in their garden or road, but it could be a hedgehog hibernating from November to March.

They usually dig holes to stay safe, but we have less green areas, bushes or wooded areas these days and it’s becoming harder to find a safe place to spend the winter sleeping.

Some may come into your gardens seeking safety and warmth to hibernate, some are so exhausted from looking that they end up sleeping in various strange places like roadside streets or even on pavements.

When they are in hibernation, their heart rate and general body functioning slow down considerably, as a way of saving energy that can confuse a person that the hedgehog is dead.

Just in case you see a stationary hedgehog, make sure it is in a safe and warm place and that it can last five months.

If you find a hedgehog in your garden or somewhere on the street, make a hole in a cardboard box and in a dry, safe and quiet place so it can spend the cold months there.

Hedgehogs are an endangered species, they are completely harmless and very important in our ecosystem. They eat beetles, snails, frogs, lizards, snakes, including poisonous.

They also destroy mice nests.

They are not afraid of bees or wasps. The hedgehog can easily destroy a hornet's nest and eat its inhabitants by ignoring their bites.

Scientists have long noticed the immunity of hedgehogs to strong poisons, including bites from insects. This antidote phenomenon is not yet known to scientists.

Be aware when you see a hedgehog in the cold months. It costs nothing to help such a fragile wee thing.

Yesterday I stopped at a Habitat for Humanity event in Wilmingyon DE
It was near the end, and they were packing everything up
During a conversation I was told to take any leftover food because else it would go to waste
I took 2 whole pizzas, 5 boxes of donuts, a dozen bottles of water, 2 bags full of fresh lettuce, half a dozen of candy apples, and about a gallon of apple cider

Everything except for the apple cider ( planning on making apple cider syrup today) I took to the retirement home at 500 N walnut street

By the time I unloaded the car, I had half a dozen seniors in the community room to take some food
The candy apples went first ( grand children)
Within 15 min all of it was gone and I made a lot of of people happy

The reason for this story
If you are at an event where food is going to be trown out, don’t let it go to waste
If you are an event coordinator think about where the leftovers can go (I understand sometimes you can’t )
These seniors are on limited incomes, most get food from the food bank.

Anything that one person doesn’t like or want goes into the community room, so someone else can use it
This is how I grew up, ic you don’t like it someone else will. So don’t let it go to waste.

There are to many people going hungry these days to let food go to waste
I hope I inspired you to think about who might like what you don’t want anymore and that includes foods with Best Buy,,,, expired dates on it.
