One step closer to funding improvements at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk and downtown business district!

The council unanimously approved a 15-year loan from Truist Bank during its meeting on Tuesday, August 11th, to help finance the $12 million property purchase approved in April.

The N.C. Coastal Land Trust has reached an agreement with a developer to preserve over 3,200 acres of forest in New Hanover County. The deal is with Copper Builders, the developer behind the controversial Hilton Bluffs subdivision proposed on Castle Hayne property known as Sledge Forest. It would ....
