This week’s WWW is all about one of Wilmington’s most iconic spots— Thalian Hall.

💙 Right in the heart of downtown, it’s been around since the 1850s and is still such a big part of the community today. And right now, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes—it’s in the middle of a major transformation, expanding and reworking the space for even more performances and events.

A couple of the new spaces they’re adding are especially cool—the Wilde Cat Club, a smaller music venue with a rotating stage and lounge feel, and the Hippodrome, which is being reimagined into a larger, immersive performance space with new and advanced tech.

I recently went to a continuing education class there on Selling Historic Homes, and we got to tour the building and hear more about what’s ahead. It was honestly amazing to see how much intention is going into keeping the history while still moving things forward.

Definitely an iconic spot to keep on your radar if you love seeing Wilmington grow while holding onto what makes it special 👏
