With real estate you see the glamour but it’s not always glitz so why not do a realtor vlog? 🙃 Come behind the scenes + spend the day with me as a North Carolina realtor serving Wilson, NC, Raleigh, NC, and surrounding areas.

This day was pretty full to say the least and had a lot of unexpected twists and turns that I’ll share in later vlogs and videos. 😳

I woke up super bright and early looking a MESS but getting work done. I just successfully closed one deal and spent my morning trying to salvage another deal that was falling apart due to things out of my control from lending. Imagine trying to explain to your client what lending should have but failed to share. 😩

Anywho, after that I had a meeting and quarterly review with my BIC (broker in charge) who gave me kudos for being a top producer within our firm, and completing both CE and post licensing SUPER EARLY while managing multiple deals simultaneously. I meannnnn if we’re being honest that is pretty fire if I do say so myself! 🥰

But moving along, we did a walkthrough of a property a client was interested in and saved the day for a previous client but we’ll talk more about that soon lol.

Consistency produces greatness which ultimately makes you undeniable.

The greatness is formed in the quiet moments nobody sees. The late nights when everyone is sleeping. The times where tears streamed down your face but instead of quitting you became a beast.

Real estate has a way of showing you what you’re made of. It has a way of showing you how people manage under pressure. How you manage under pressure.

Real estate shows you how dangerously deceptive some people are which in turn makes you appreciate how considerate and honest the integral ones are.

It sharpens you. It heightens your discernment. It challenges you to think critically and not emotionally. It takes your problem solving skills to another level.

And all of that makes you a better agent. When people watching your journey see how you pivot and move with grace and excellence you become undeniable. You go from overlooked to in demand.

Never let the humble beginnings discourage you. You’re being molded.

Today I’m thankful for every client that has been apart of my journey. I’m thankful for the transactions that closed and the ones that didn’t. I’ve learned from it all and I’m only getting better and better.

Asking your first time homebuyers the right questions is key to saving time and maximizing their home search. Listening intentionally helps you understand exactly what your client’s needs are in addition to helping your clients navigate the difference between preference and nonnegotiable.

Your client is paying the mortgage so they absolutely should get what their heart desires however your job as an agent is to ensure your clients don’t dismiss what’s best for them over simple fixes by encouraging them to also ask questions and be completely honest about their feelings.

Real estate is a relationship business and when someone is trusting you with one of their biggest purchases in life ensuring they feel seen and heard is essential for creating trust and I’m so thankful I’ve been able to create just that with all of my clients.
