For today’s What the…?!?! Wednesday, I give this person an E for effort, but “It’s not supposed to do that!” What you’re looking at here is a bathroom exhaust fan running at least 15-20 feet and terminating inside a PVC plumbing vent stack. This person literally cut a hole in the vent stack and taped the exhaust vent to the pipe. American Building Inspectors LLC 🕵🏻‍♂️ 🇺🇸

For today’s What the…?!?! Wednesday, even though it’s NEW construction, you should still order a sewer inspection. In this case, the builders sub contractors stuck a rag (and concrete) inside the sewer line. This was right in the middle of this multi million dollar house! Luckily, the concrete in there was mobile and didn’t adhere to the pvc sewer line. If it wasn’t mobile, they would have to jack the floors up, cut the pipe and replace the section. This buyer (and builder) lucked out this was found on our inspection.
