Our founder and CEO, Kate Sowell was honored to be part of the facility task force that helped create the 2025 bond package for the WISD. In her roles at WellHouse and Executive Director at Barnabas Connection and as a former teacher, she is able to represent many families and students who are underrepresented, being a voice for the community. Today that group was invited back to be part of the groundbreaking ceremony and it’s so exciting to see all the hard work and dedication of so many people come together! This will provide so many opportunities for generations of children to come!

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the mixer hosted by Sonora Bank and the Wimberley Chamber of Commerce.
Our Founder, Kate Sowell, who is also the Executive Director of Barnabas Connection, shared about the mission of Barnabas and the meaningful impact local businesses like Sonora Bank can make when they reinvest in their communities.
During the event, Sonora Bank presented Barnabas Connection with a generous $5,000 check to support the Community Assistance Fund.
