Give me a hug here if you know from family or friends what it takes to keep being a realtor! One of my self-given tasks over the last few years has been to take courses through our state association to gain a certification beyond my licensing in the state of Virginia. I have one more GRI course to go in November before my continuing education hours have to be completed so I can renew my licensing for another two years. Those remaining 16 hours of course credit I can complete online. Then next year (the end of my five year timeline and time limit to complete the course), I should be able to take my last three classes. I will then be certified by Graduate Realtor Institute, a nationwide organization. I’ll find other top realtors within the GRI network across the country to help you and your family and friends when any of you feel the need to roam and find a new state to call home!
Today I was in class 9 to 4 and passed my exam with a 100% passing grade. Class was the priority today but got lost in other responsibilities before my work day was done. Reflecting tonight I realized I needed to be grateful for my ability to absorb course information and learn. Testing well is pure bonus!

Edited so you know order is restored for all the old girls (including me) and Joy and the Green Bean are happy to be garaged again! I’ll take this load for donation on Tuesday and what I am saving for the 2027 May sale at Vicky’s is packed, stored and ready to go. Watch for ads to save the date on Top Of Mind Team page.

Our second community yard sale is in the books here. Six other household signed up and each of your Top of Mind Team were set up with goods to sell, one additional household joined in. So we are growing in size. Blessings of the day came from helping others find something new to them that they really enjoyed or had a use for and also from checking in with each household to thank them for participating. We had another great day weather-wise! Sales were good and we are already planning for next fall! See you when I’m out walking or at the next sale!

Mountains or Beach? What’s your preference for a getaway? This week work took me south into Bath County and our team overnighted where I LOVED my morning views. The beach calls me when I haven’t had my toes in the sand for a long while, but this? This restored my soul.
