So I've had a few days to "unpack" all that this means for "US" as NextHome brokers and agents.

The real estate business for REALTORS and consumers continues to grow and with growth comes with change. It's kind of like going to gym you have to break a sweat if your going to make progress.

Understand!!
1. We are not becoming EXP we will continue to be NextHome Realty Select as we have been since I started this company 10 years ago. Our signs and branding continue, LUKE stays absolutely OUR company mascot and we have some NEW COOL stuff coming soon.

2. We will continue to grow NextHome Realty Select in the Shenandoah Valley and Eastern Panhandle of WV. NextHome as a company is also looking to grow everywhere in the United States and soon outside our borders.

3. Our culture will remain what you have come to know from NextHome Realty Select one of community and collaboration. Open education and open doors. A very special lady that is not with us anymore told me often! A rising tide lifts ALL boats and this has stuck with me for many years. I believe this acquisition of NextHome from EXP Holdings is the rising tide to carry us into the future.

I spent this morning at Virginia REALTORS in Richmond taking 3 1/2 hours of training for Professional Standards and Ethics. I love this industry that I have made my career and giving back is the way you grow.

Are you curious about our "LOCAL" real estate market?

In April we saw a little decline in closed sales down just over 8% YOY. Our median price is stable at this time, but our inventory is growing in Frederick Co. up 15% from last year in April.
