Shoutout to those sellers who somehow manage to keep their house show ready at ALL times. 👏

I’ve had a few clients who can get a showing request and say, “Sure! Come on over!” like it’s no big deal.

I’m here to admit…I could never be one of those sellers.

If I ever sell my house, I’m going to need:
🏠 A minimum of 2 hours notice
🚪 No closets are to be opened
🧺 And the pile of clean laundry is going to have to go back in the dryer

Realtor? Yes.
Show ready homeowner? Absolutely not.

Meet the Propps — my 3rd time clients! 🏡❤️

A little over two years ago, I helped the Propps sell their first home. They had realized it was too small, a little too far out, and living on top of a mountain just wasn’t working for them anymore.

We sold it for top dollar and found a buyer who allowed them a short rent back period, giving them time to find their next home without feeling rushed.

House #2 checked so many of their boxes and was perfect for them at the time… but after living there, they realized something else: neighborhood living wasn’t for them.

And you know what? That’s okay!

Sometimes you buy a house thinking it’s exactly what you want, only to live there and realize your priorities have changed, or that what felt perfect at first just doesn’t feel like home later on.

That doesn’t mean you’re stuck.

So, the search for house #3 began! There wasn’t anything on the market that checked their boxes, so I went looking off market and found the one.

Now they’re still close to town, but they can sit on their front or back porch and hear the birds instead of the hustle and bustle of a neighborhood.

Even better, we were able to sell house #2 for enough to get back everything they had invested into it,and a little more!

One of my favorite parts of this business is that clients really do turn into lifelong friends. Congratulations to the Propps on finding the place that they will love coming home to. 🏡❤️

And if you’re living in a house that just isn’t working for you anymore, you’re not necessarily stuck. Sometimes it just takes a little creativity and a plan to figure out what’s next.
