It's hot, and the homes are getting bought. Those are my bare-bones summer highlights. I’m logging some family time on the boat at Smith Mountain Lake whenever possible, too. And I still have plenty of listings coming and going on the regular.
While some real estate sources report a slight downturn elsewhere, our region continues to thrive, largely because Northern Virginia commuters are still seeking refuge here. We’re not only more affordable than the greater DC Metro Area, but those folks are learning what we already know: we have it made in the shade in terms of amenities, access to appealing outdoor activities, well-rated schools, safe neighborhoods, friendly people, and should I go on?
All that to say it’s still a great time to jump in the market. Give me a holler if you want to talk about it.
