At The Bales Team, being part of the Wi******er community means more than helping people buy and sell homes. We believe in supporting the organizations and people who make our community stronger.

One organization especially close to our hearts is Fremont Street Nursery, a local nonprofit devoted to caring for and supporting children and families in our community.

At the heart of that mission is Executive Director Freda Roberson, who has spent an incredible 31 years at Fremont Street Nursery, dedicating her entire career to the care of children and service to our community.

This photo says so much about the lasting impact of her work. Pictured with Freda is one of Fremont Street Nursery’s employees—who was also a student there when she was a child. Seeing a former student return to help care for the next generation is a wonderful example of the legacy Freda and Fremont Street Nursery have created.

The Bales Team is proud to donate a portion of our commissions to support Fremont Street Nursery and the important work they do. When our clients choose to work with us, they also help us give back to organizations that are making a difference right here in Wi******er.

We are grateful for Freda, her team, and their decades of dedication to our children, families, and community.

Community matters. Giving back matters. And we are proud to support Fremont Street Nursery.

When I say West Virginia is the place to go if you want to disconnect, relax, and truly recharge, I'm talking from experience. Our very humble cabin in the "middle of nowhere" WV has no electricity, no running water, and we cook on an open fire! We get up each morning, make coffee on an open fire in a percolator, and sit wrapped in blankets watching eagles fly up and down the river. I just wish I could share it with everyone in the world because it heals your soul!

Divorce is exhausting long before real estate ever enters the picture.

My job is to take one enormous thing off the list and handle it, so they can get on with their life. That is it.

If that is where you are right now, call me

Hi, I’m Lori Bales. If you’re new here, I’ve spent over 30 years helping buyers and sellers in the Wi******er area, and one thing that sets me apart is my background in construction. Through my construction company, I’ve been directly involved in building and renovating homes, which gives me a deeper understanding of property value, quality, and potential. That hands-on experience allows me to guide my clients beyond just the transaction — helping them truly understand the home they’re buying or selling.
