I've heard from many clients lately saying they want to wait to buy until the market "crashes".

I know there has been a lot of hesitancy with increasing interest rates and it can feel at times like buying a home may be impossible. Right now we are seeing interest rates beginning to lower again, but as this happens sales prices on homes are going to begin to increase due to lack of inventory compared to the ever-growing demand.

So here is why we are not going to have a decrease in housing prices in the coming months. The difference between now and 2008 is the number of historical household formations and the amount of inventory, paired with questionable lending practices. We are not predicted to see any reductions of equity in our area for the foreseeable future. As a matter of fact, in the upcoming months you'll be competing with multiple other offers on any house.
