One of the first things I noticed about 8104 Jailene Drive is just how private the outdoor living feels.

The screened pool backs directly to a peaceful conservation area with no rear neighbors, so instead of looking into another backyard, you’re surrounded by mature landscaping and greenery. It’s the kind of setting that makes it easy to picture slow mornings by the pool, afternoons outside with the family, and evenings entertaining friends.

And with landscape lighting already in place, the backyard is just as inviting after the sun goes down.

When touring this spectacular property, save plenty of time for the backyard.
There’s a lot more here than the pool.

Follow the paths through the gardens and you’ll pass fountains, mature landscaping, a rock waterfall and a stream that winds beneath a small bridge. Keep going and you’ll find a secluded fire pit tucked into the landscape before eventually reaching the private dock on Lake Tibet Butler. And from there, you have the entire Butler Chain of Lakes to enjoy.

It’s one of the things I love about lakefront property in Keene’s Pointe — your backyard can feel completely private, while the lake opens up a whole other way to experience Windermere.

I’ve walked through a lot of beautiful primary suites over the years, but this listing has a few surprises.

The fireplace, sitting area, wet bar, soaking tub and steam shower already make this a pretty incredible retreat.

Then you get to the dressing room. It spans multiple levels, has the feel of a private boutique and even includes an adjoining space designed for massage and relaxation.

It’s one of those parts of the home that really needs to be seen in person to appreciate the scale and detail that went into it.

I get to talk with a lot of people considering a move to Central Florida, and one of the things I always tell them is that there’s much more to living here than what you see on vacation.

Windermere is a great example.

You can spend a Saturday morning golfing, take the boat out for the afternoon, meet friends for dinner and still come home to a quiet neighborhood surrounded by lakes and mature landscaping.

Add our year-round outdoor lifestyle, easy access to Orlando, great restaurants, entertainment and an international airport, and it’s easy to understand why people come to Central Florida for a visit and start wondering what it would be like to stay.

After years of helping people buy and sell homes here, I can tell you — there are a lot of great places to call home in Central Florida. Finding the right one is the fun part.
