A USDA loan might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you are a first time homebuyer but it could be worth checking out.

June's market data reports are out. I ran these based on single family homes in the 3 counties I am in most- Hillsborough, Merrimack, and Rockingham. The yellow is 2026, blue is 2025. Some double digit percent increases for activity in Southern NH which is not surprising!

New Hampshire had three signers of the Declaration of Independence.

Josiah Bartlett – A physician from Kingston who later became the first Governor of New Hampshire under the state's constitution. He was the first New Hampshire delegate to sign the Declaration.

William Whipple – A former sea captain and merchant from Portsmouth who served as a brigadier general during the Revolutionary War. He later became a justice on the New Hampshire Superior Court.

Matthew Thornton – A physician, he served as the president of the New Hampshire Provincial Congress in 1775, and from January to September 1776, as speaker of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He was elected to the Continental Congress after the debates on independence had occurred, but as he did not arrive in Philadelphia until November 1776, he was granted permission to actually sign the Declaration of Independence four months after the formal signing in July.

Throwback Thursday! That’s me in a tree during forestry school at UNH almost 20 years ago. What does this have to do with real estate?

Sometimes the road to where we are today has a few twists and turns. After getting my Bachelors in Forestry I traded lumber for over a decade. As a commodity trader nothing is more important than long lasting relationships built on trust, integrity, and market knowledge. High dollar negations on a daily basis are nothing new to me.
