Electric bikes, scooters and other personal transportation devices are becoming more popular, and it's important to know the rules before you ride!

On October 19, the Windsor Heights City Council approved updated bicycle regulations to promote safe and responsible riding throughout our community.

The ordinance addresses:
โœ… Helmet requirements for riders under 16
โœ… Where e-bikes, scooters and other devices can be operated
โœ… Safe speeds on streets, sidewalks and trails
โœ… Restrictions on higher-powered electric devices
โœ… Safety requirements for riders and motorists

The ordinance will be officially published and in effect this Friday, October 23.
