🍗 Classic Chicken Cordon Bleu – Crispy, Cheesy, and Oh-So-Satisfying! 🧀

Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 slices of Swiss cheese
4 slices of ham (thinly sliced)
1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs (beaten)
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
Instructions:
Prep the Chicken: Place each chicken breast between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound gently with a meat mallet until about ½ inch thick. Season with salt and pepper.
Add the Filling: Place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast. Roll them up tightly, tucking in the sides, and secure with toothpicks.
Bread the Chicken: Dredge each roll in flour, dip in the beaten eggs mixed with Dijon mustard, then coat in breadcrumbs for that perfect crunch.
Cook to Perfection: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken rolls until golden brown on all sides (about 3-4 minutes). Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melty.
Serve: Let rest for a few minutes, remove toothpicks, and slice to reveal that cheesy, ham-filled goodness!
