I'm Waylon Huber, and I'm honored to be vying for City Council Seat 1 in my hometown of Winnemucca, Nevada. Growing up here has instilled in me a deep sense of commitment to our community. After graduating from Lowry High School, I dove headfirst into entrepreneurship, founding my first business at the age of 22. Since then, I've nurtured several small businesses including being the Broker and owner of Robinhood Realty in town, honing my skills in business management and problem solving.

For 13 years, I served as a locomotive engineer, a role that taught me invaluable lessons in responsibility and precision. Now, as I transition into the realm of local politics, I bring with me a wealth of diverse experiences that uniquely qualify me to serve our community. My primary focus lies in leveraging my business acumen and budgeting expertise to address the pressing issues facing Winnemucca.

I'm married with seven children, and they inspire me every day to work tirelessly for a better future for our community. I'm committed to fostering fiscal responsibility and strategic planning to ensure our city thrives economically and socially.
