Life’s evolution in the last 35 years or so has been a time of our human brains dopamine hits exploding and throwing off the balance needed for maintaining healthy, productive & stable lives. Props to my childhood playmate and author Anna Lembke. She grew up and became a Stanford Medical Director, a top expert on mental illness & addiction to dopamine (be it Fritos, p**n, phones, social media, gambling, alcohol, drugs, romance novels, etc.) and how to find your control and peace for yourself and your family and all. Writing this with boundless ❤️ and gratitude: 5 years ago today chemo was a wrap for Pat, after double surgery for colon cancer that was also removed from his liver on Valentine’s Day 2021 (pre-Covid by a month). Doctor’s Adess (oncologist), Bentram (liver surgeon) & Strong (colon surgeon) from NWM & HP Endeavor are our amazing heroes. Forever grateful for the gift of life! ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
PS get your first colonoscopy as young as possible & keep going back on schedule!
