🌳 Well… this wasn’t part of the marketing plan! 😂
When you’re a Realtor and you find out that a TREE has decided to come down at one of your active listings… you pivot!
First, I have to say how incredibly grateful I am for the community where I live here in Winona. ❤️ I had so many people call, text, and message me to make sure I knew the tree had come down. That’s one of the things I absolutely love about this community—people look out for each other!
And the good news—the tree has already been cleaned up! 🙌🌳 A HUGE thank you to Greg’s Job Squad for jumping in and doing such an amazing job. I appreciate you!
So, what happens when something like this happens to a house that’s actively listed?
We have a couple of options. We can temporarily make the home unavailable for showings while everything gets taken care of, OR we can keep it active and simply communicate with agents and potential buyers about what happened, what’s being done, and reassure them that any damage will be properly repaired.
Because in real estate, things happen! Trees fall. Storms roll through. Unexpected things pop up.
The important part is communication, having a plan, and getting things taken care of quickly.
And apparently… sometimes being a Realtor also means adding emergency tree removal coordinator to the job description. 😂🌳🏡
Just another day in real estate—and another reason I love living and working in Winona! ❤️
