✨ Well, this was a surprise I certainly didn’t see coming! ✨

I didn’t even know I had been nominated for the CommunityVotes Winston-Salem 2026 awards. A friend reached out to tell me, and then I saw my name listed as a PLATINUM winner. Y’all… I have been grinning ever since! 🥹💜

I am incredibly proud of this recognition, but the truth is, this award belongs to my clients just as much as it belongs to me.

I work hard for the people who trust me with one of the biggest decisions of their lives. I lose sleep. I pour over details. I ask questions, research, double-check, problem-solve, and probably overthink things more than I need to. 😂 I want my clients to feel cared for, protected, informed, and proud of the decisions they make.

I’m human. I make mistakes. When I do, I try to own them, learn from them, and do better. Because this isn’t just how I make a living and take care of my family. It has become a calling. ❤️🏡

I am so incredibly grateful for the blessings that have come with this journey.

🙏 I thank God for the abilities He has given me and for the people He has placed in my path.

❤️ I thank my family for supporting me through the good days, the hard days, and all the crazy days in between.

🏡 SOLD in Davidson County! 🎉

This one deserves a little extra storytelling because this transaction was anything but ordinary. ❤️

I had the privilege of working with both the buyers and sellers as the dual agent, and somehow, throughout the entire process, it felt like we were all sitting around the kitchen table together, talking things through, working out the details, and figuring out how to get everyone to the same finish line.

But behind that warm feeling were some pretty significant layers — a senior seller, an attorney-in-fact, a pre-foreclosure situation, and several nuances that required a whole lot of digging, research, problem-solving and persistence.

There were definitely moments when I could have thrown my hands up and walked away. But that's just not how I'm wired.

I put on my detective hat 🕵️‍♀️, pulled out those paralegal skills 📚, and relied heavily on the social work skills I developed during more than two decades working as a social worker in a law firm. I dug into the details, asked questions, made calls, researched what I needed to know, and kept working until I found solutions.

Most importantly, my clients trusted me. And I never gave up on them.

The Whitt family, Jim and Sarah — thank you for trusting me with a transaction that I know many people would have walked away from long ago. Thank you for your patience, your faith in me, and for allowing me to be part of this journey.

It wasn't always easy. It wasn't always pretty. But we made it to the closing table! 🎉🔑

And honestly? These are the transactions that remind me why I do what I do.

Real estate isn't always about the easy ones. Sometimes it's about being willing to dig deeper, think outside the box, advocate for your clients, and refuse to give up when the path gets complicated.

Another SOLD sign, another closing, and another reminder that the right people, persistence and a whole lot of determination can make some pretty complicated things come together. ❤️

SOLD! 🏡❤️

This closing was one that tested everyone’s patience and perseverance. It wasn’t an easy transaction, and there were plenty of moments where it felt like we had climbed one mountain only to find another waiting for us.

But through it all, my seller never lost sight of what truly mattered.

He approached every challenge with grace, completed repairs, offered concessions when needed, and remained kind and cooperative every step of the way. His goal was never just to sell a house—it was to pass along a home that another family could love just as much as he did.

As bittersweet as it is to say goodbye to a place filled with memories, this sale allows him to begin a new chapter caring for and spending precious time with his aging parents. There is something incredibly special about that.

I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to help him through this journey. Transactions don’t always go as planned, but having clients who lead with integrity, compassion, and perspective makes all the difference.

Congratulations on your closing, and here’s to new beginnings—for both the seller and the buyers who will now fill this home with memories of their own. ❤️🏡
