Yesterday’s meeting theme was “Are You Smarter Than an Underwriter?”

Let’s just say… after a few rounds of the card game and some real underwriting Q&A, many of us discovered the answer might be no. 😅

It was a great reminder of how much knowledge and detail goes into underwriting a mortgage. Huge appreciation to Enact for this engaging event.

Great conversation at our last meeting. with a special guest , George Camisa from a xactus, who pulled back the curtain on what really happens behind the scenes when mortgage credit is pulled.

We discussed the flow of a mortgage credit report, how the data is compiled, and some of the recent industry changes impacting borrowers and lenders alike.
