A downtown Winston-Salem landmark is beginning its next chapter, and we couldn't be more excited. 🏛️

The historic Loewy Building at 500 W. Fourth Street is being lovingly restored. Originally two connected Art Deco buildings commissioned by Kate B. Reynolds in the 1920s, it's one of just a few Art Deco-influenced structures still standing downtown. The upper floors are being transformed into 54 new apartments, with residents moving in next summer.

And the ground floor? That's where we come in. Prime downtown commercial space, anywhere from about 1,900 to 10,700 square feet, is coming available, right in the heart of Fourth Street with dozens of new neighbors moving in upstairs.

Congratulations to AC Hengler for his investment in downtown Winston-Salem. Sandbox VR just opened in the former CVS building on the corner of Fourth and Trade. Last week was the ribbon cutting on this cool new space, which features a bar and private party room, in addition to four VR rooms.

Congratulations to Jared Rogers, who recently won the NAIOP Piedmont Triad Chapter Award for NC Redevelopment Project of the Year for Salem Bottleworks.

Built in 1929, Salem Bottleworks has been meticulously restored to become an integral part of the current vibrant Winston-Salem community.

Cindy Corey Christopher with Christopher Commercial sold this unique property for Old Salem Museums & Gardens. LMI Builders, Inc., CJMW Architecture, and Jared did an amazing job of restoring it and showing how readaptive use can work!
