🏡 Your house is trying to tell you something.
You just have to pay attention.

Before we completely trade summer for football, fall leaves and pumpkin everything (ewwww), take 10 minutes to check these:

✔️ Change your HVAC filter
✔️ Look at gutters and downspouts
✔️ Check around windows and doors for cracked caulk
✔️ Make sure water is draining AWAY from your foundation
✔️ Test your smoke & carbon monoxide detectors
✔️ Take a walk around the exterior and look for anything that suddenly looks different

Little problems are usually a whole lot cheaper to fix when they're still little.

If you're like me, sometimes you just need someone to remind you to actually LOOK at the house you've been living in every day. 😂

The market isn't broken. It's just different. 🏡

Honestly, that's something both buyers AND sellers need to hear right now.

Buyers have more choices than they've had in a while.
That means you may have a little more breathing room to compare homes, negotiate, and actually think before jumping.

For sellers? It means pricing and presentation matter.
The days of throwing a house on the market, putting a sign in the yard, and waiting for multiple offers to magically appear aren't the norm everywhere anymore.

Today's market rewards strategy, and that is not bad news.
It just means you need to understand the market you're actually in rather than the one we had a few years ago.

If you're thinking about buying or selling, don't let a headline tell you what your move should be. Let's talk about your situation.

🎂 Another year has come and gone.

Birthdays have a funny way of making you stop and think about where you've been, where you're going, and all the things you didn't see coming.

The people who came into your life.
The people who left it.
The lessons you didn't ask for but definitely needed.
The goals you reached.
And the ones you're still chasing.

And honestly? I'm pretty grateful for this chapter.

For the people who have supported me personally, cheered for me and my business, referred someone to me, trusted me with a move, or simply followed along here... I don't take any of it for granted. ❤️

So instead of asking what I want for my birthday,
I'm asking YOU:

What's something you're celebrating lately?
A new job? A new house? A milestone? A new adventure?
Or maybe just surviving Monday. 😂

I'll go first:
I'm celebrating another year of becoming more of the person I actually want to be. I can truly say I chose myself this year.

Well… it’s birthday week. 🎂

Apparently I’ve reached the age where my birthday makes me think less about the number and more about the year behind me.

A lot can change in 12 months.

Some things you planned.
Some things you definitely did NOT. 😂
Some people came into your life.
Some people left.
And somewhere in the middle of all of it, you realize you’ve grown a little bit more into the person you’re supposed to be.

So tomorrow, I’m celebrating another trip around the sun, and I might just make y’all answer a question or two along the way. 😉

Even if it isn't YOUR birthday, I highly encourage cake. 🎂🥂

I'm building a business I'm proud to put my name on.

That's really what this season of my life is about.

Not just selling houses. Not chasing every lead. Not trying to be the loudest REALTOR in the room.

I'm building relationships. I'm learning. I'm showing up. I'm creating systems. I'm getting involved in my community.

I'm committed to being the kind of REALTOR people can call before they need a REALTOR.

Sometimes you don't need someone to sell you a house.

You need someone to tell you: “Here's what I'd do if I were you.”

That's the kind of relationship I want to build.

There is a difference between:

“The house is clean.”
and
“If someone unexpectedly comes over, I won't be embarrassed.”

Because apparently those are two VERY different levels of clean.
