Buying tip of the day:

In order to get in where you fit in, you may have to change your expectations. Meaning if what you qualify for is in the $200k-$300k range, you are in the most competitive price range in the market & what you have your mind set on may not be obtainable.

So where does that leave you? It actually still leaves you in a great place, because buying right now is vital. Why? Because the prediction is for prices to continue to increase! As you see the home prices climbing, once you buy a home those prices will climb on your property as well. For example, a home that sold in January already has $10K in equity. Imagine 6 months from now…

What to take from this is, BUY SOMETHING! Even if it’s a home that isn’t perfect, or needs a little work, it will pay off in the long run, well in this case even short term 😉 You can always resale & gain equity, something you can’t do renting.
