I have a theory.
The people who brag the loudest about being available 24/7 are often the people who haven’t built a business that works without constant sacrifice.
Before you tell me…
“But that’s just real estate.”
“If I don’t answer right away, I might lose the deal.”
“It’ll only take a minute.”
“I just need to send one text.”
I know.
I’ve made all the same excuses.
And sometimes late nights happen.
But somewhere along the way, we started acting like being available 24/7 makes us better agents.
I don’t think it does.
I think it makes us tired.
And tired people don’t make their best decisions.
My clients aren’t hiring me because I can answer a text at midnight.
They’re hiring me to negotiate, advise, and help them make one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.
They don’t need the exhausted version of me.
They need the best version of me.
