Swipe through to understand what UBTI and UDFI could mean for your SDIRA.

Self-directed IRAs can provide access to private and alternative investments—but certain investments may create additional tax considerations.

UBTI (Unrelated Business Taxable Income) can apply to income from an unrelated business activity, while UDFI (Unrelated Debt-Financed Income) can apply when debt is used to finance an IRA investment.
