'Tis the season for committing to healthier lifestyles (don't worry, I'm not gonna challenge you to a pickball tournament with me or anything!)
And all this goal-setting got me thinking, what if future sellers like you made similar commitments to themselves?
Not because you're not content with where you live, but because you want to invest in yourself and your home so that you're in the best shape when it comes time to sell!
Just like you actually have to work out consistently to see results from your gym membership, you also have to care for your home in order to get maximum ROI.
Your home is your largest asset, and just like a workout routine keeps you strong and healthy, keeping up on routine maintenance increases your home's value.
Think of a daily walk like daily upkeep on your home. Keep it tidy, dust and sweep, and address minor repairs.
And just like there's more than one way to stay in shape, there's more than one way to decorate your home.
Try a few things until you find what you like then express yourself through paint colors, cosmetic finishes, and so on. This habit not only makes your house feel like home for you while you live there, but potential buyers will step into your space and feel at home, too!
And of course, no exercise plan is complete without addressing your diet. What we consume can fuel us (or wear us down). It's important to only consume information that's going to help us make healthy choices! This is why working with an agent (like me!) is so important.
