THE BEST DAY TO BUY A HOUSE IN 2024 ⬇️

Spoiler alert: There isn’t one.

You’ve probably seen a post at one point or another saying “the best week to buy a house is ____” and you’re like, “great, that’s right now! Too late!”

But the truth is, every single buyer is different!

Think about it...let’s pretend there’s a day where inflation and mortgage rates and home prices all align just perfectly to give you the *best* possible deal on a house.

EVEN IF that happens, what are the chances the kind of home every single buyer is looking for is magically on the market!?

No chance!

Choosing *when* to buy a house is so much more complex than looking at a few numbers the Feds announce.

You have to look at your LIFE. What’s going on? Can you handle a move right now? Can you afford the house you really want, or is it best to keep saving? Are you trying to pay off debt to improve your credit score? Do your parents have health issues that you’re busy helping them navigate?

Friend, there is NO perfect day to buy a house. There’s only a perfect-day-for-YOU!

Stop letting clickbait headlines make you feel like you’re behind or missing out.

'Tis the season for committing to healthier lifestyles (don't worry, I'm not gonna challenge you to a pickball tournament with me or anything!)

And all this goal-setting got me thinking, what if future sellers like you made similar commitments to themselves?
Not because you're not content with where you live, but because you want to invest in yourself and your home so that you're in the best shape when it comes time to sell!

Just like you actually have to work out consistently to see results from your gym membership, you also have to care for your home in order to get maximum ROI.

Your home is your largest asset, and just like a workout routine keeps you strong and healthy, keeping up on routine maintenance increases your home's value.

Think of a daily walk like daily upkeep on your home. Keep it tidy, dust and sweep, and address minor repairs.

And just like there's more than one way to stay in shape, there's more than one way to decorate your home.
Try a few things until you find what you like then express yourself through paint colors, cosmetic finishes, and so on. This habit not only makes your house feel like home for you while you live there, but potential buyers will step into your space and feel at home, too!

And of course, no exercise plan is complete without addressing your diet. What we consume can fuel us (or wear us down). It's important to only consume information that's going to help us make healthy choices! This is why working with an agent (like me!) is so important.
A dietician isn't going to give every client the same plan, and neither do I! Every seller and their situation is different, so I provide custom selling plans for each client that honors their situation and helps them net as much money as possible.
