Boy my life was much different in Real Estate 5 years ago than how it is now.

This will be the last home I will have sold or leased for the foreseeable future. More of that to come in a moment.

I had to do some serious work on pricing this home as there were no comparables in the neighborhood or even from miles away, it is a unique home for the area. I used a tool which I really utilized this time in pricing the home which I felt confident about in the value. Listed it at $429,900 it appraised and sold for $430,000 which was the contract price, I was $100 off. There were some doubts along the way from different parties, however I always felt good about how I priced it and it worked out. Yeah, I still know how to do things even under extenuating circumstances.

Back to that moment. I have decided to make a change in my life because quite frankly, I need it and for the first time in nearly 15 years I won’t be buying, selling, or leasing residential real estate; instead, I will still be using my real estate license to make a living helping people in another way. When it’s time I will share my next journey to come.

Until then I like to think I am leaving this part of the industry while still knowing my stuff especially for this most recent transaction.
