🐣 Dont be a Chicken! Get chickens! 🐔 If you've ever wondered how easy (read; fun!) it is to have your own chickens, check out this virtual class through the UF/IFAS Extension. Do your research now while we wait for Casselberry to come back with their resolution for our chickens, even if you already have 'em I bet you'll still learn something.

We started in early April and we are still waiting (just a few more weeks!) for our hens to drop their first eggs!🥚Most expensive eggs Ill ever buy, and I can not wait to taste them!🤤🍳🍴

Keeping chickens and producing your own eggs in suburban and urban settings has become a popular hobby.

🏫 Upcoming Realtor Event Oviedo High School! As a SCPS 🐼 Parent myself I enjoy being nosey about the programs and curriculum being offered in our district, I want to know what choices and opportunties my son can look forward to. 🔭 I learned so much about ✈️ Seminole High School last month at this event, I look forward to touring Oviedo HS as well! 😍 Ill let you know how it goes!

🏘 HOAs "going away"?? I doubt it!

I don't prefer HOAs but its not lawless living 😅 I learned the hard way local Code Enforcement can still stroll by and let you know what you can/t do with your property. 🚫🚤🅿️🙄

🤝 Voluntary HOAs seem to be a good compromise. Opt in if you'd like to use the amenities, opt out if you dont need them. Consider too how it will effect property values, if a community offers lots of shared spaces and low HOA participation causes those areas to be neglected it may have an undesirable effect.

As many 'HOA horror stories' as there are, they aren't all bad and some people do truely prefer to live in communities with specific standards. You do You boo 👻

A new Florida bill would give residents the power to eliminate their HOAs. And that legislation just passed its final committee.

I had an absolute blast Friday volunteering at the Living On My Own program brought by SCPS Dividends/Community Involvement and UF IFAS Extension Seminole County to Sanford Middle School - Math, Science, and Technology Magnet!!

If anyone has ever talked to me and heard about my 📊 crazy Spreadsheets 🤪 you'd know that Finacial Literacy is a big passion of mine. Sanford is one of the schools I am considering for L so it was nice to see inside and interact with some parents and students and hear all the great things they had to say!
