Some closings are extra special… and extra hard. ❤️

Today I had the privilege of helping one of my dearest friends of nearly 20 years close on the sale of her North Carolina home as she begins an exciting new chapter in Michigan, closer to her family.

I’m so incredibly happy for her. Her home went under contract in just 4 days and sold for more than she expected, a true testament to the love and care they poured into their home over the years. I’m grateful this sale will help set them up well for this next season.

But I’d be lying if I said this one wasn’t bittersweet. She’s been one of those friends who’s always shown up for me, and knowing she won’t be just down the road anymore is hard.

I’m also reminded how thankful I am that people I care about trust me to guide them through one of the biggest decisions they’ll make. It’s a responsibility I never take lightly, and I’m grateful this process was as smooth and seamless as it was from start to finish.

Congratulations, my sweet friend. Michigan is gaining someone truly special, but North Carolina is definitely losing one. I’ll miss you more than words can say, but I can’t wait to watch all that God has in store for you in this next chapter. ❤️🏡

This closing was one for the books!

We had ups and downs, unexpected challenges, repairs, added expenses, and plenty of uncertainty about whether we’d actually even make it to the closing table. These sellers were an absolute dream to work with and kept on pushing to get the house sold. The best attitudes always, which makes the hard stuff bearable!

This one is especially meaningful because I had the privilege of helping my seller purchase this home 2 years ago, and now I’ve had the honor of helping him sell it as he begins a new chapter.
