🍂 Happy Fall!
A new season is a great excuse for a little home refresh — whether you’re thinking about buying, selling, or just getting your house ready for the colder months ahead.

1. Freshen up your curb appeal. Add mums, clean up leaves, swap out tired planters, and give the front door/porch a quick refresh.
2. Let the light in. Clean the windows, open the curtains, and add warm lighting as our Maine days start getting shorter.
3. Tackle the little stuff. Touch up paint, fix that loose handle you’ve ignored for six months, clean the gutters, and knock out those small repairs before listing.

1. Get pre-approved now. Know your budget before you fall in love with a house.
2. Use fall to really inspect a property. Look at drainage, gutters, heating systems, windows, insulation, and how the home handles cooler/wetter weather.
3. Keep an eye on the market. Fall can mean fewer buyers competing than the spring rush — so don’t assume you need to wait until next year to start looking.
