Yesterday I received a very nice compliment from one of my most valued clients, while on our way home from a showing in Brunswick, Maine. She said "John I noticed that nothing seems to rattle you. You approach the difficult situations in the same manner as you do the easy ones. How do you manage to do that?" I said "well Nancy the answer is simple: I follow two rules in life. Would you like to know what they are?" "I am all ears" is what she said.
The first rule is: Don't sweat the small stuff!
The second rule is: It's all small stuff.
I firmly believe that a hundred years from now, no one will care how much that house sold for. Likewise nobody will be mindful of the laws, rules, regulations and ethics that apply today. Therefore I simply work as hard as I can using my experience and abilities to help my sellers and buyers get exactly what they want.
Then we had the most enjoyable ride the rest of the way home.
REMEMBER: IT'S ALL SMALL STUFF!!!
