Make the most of your appraisal

Job description

Do you have experience as a real estate appraiser or evaluator and are you seeking for a profitable new career path? We are a fast expanding company in search of an appraiser that can keep up with our rigorous standards without sacrificing quality. Your primary responsibility will be to assess the profitability of potential real estate investments and the market value of properties for sale or purchase. This job can be performed remotely but we prefer someone that is familiar with the Northern Virginia area. Must be available for quick evaluations periodically throughout the day. This is a new position in our organization and compensation is flexible. Options being considered are by the evaluation or successful acquisition.
Desired Skills and Experience

Able to use public records of permit departments to determine the age of repairs and improvements
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
A state license or professional certification from a reputable appraisal organization such as Appraisal Institute or the Appraisal Foundation is required
Minimum of 2 years working experience as a residential or commercial real estate appraiser, assessor of real estate, or related experience
Computer proficient, knowledge of MS Office and other relevant software required
Use our pictures to determine as is value and potential value and note special features of the property, property condition, and nearby properties that may impact property value
Prepare the necessary appraisal reports to show assessment results
Synthesize collected data to determine the current market value and potential future value
