I started my real estate and mortgage broker career in 1977. I had a dream of one day owning my own mortgage company, which I did. Owning my own real estate firm, which I did. And now, after many years of learning and experience, the ups and downs of the market, I am opening another chapter in my career as a developer.
This was a very eye-opening course that was provided through the NAREB Developers Academy. Thank you, Wells Fargo for supporting this endeavor financially and making my lifelong dream come true. I didn't think I could do it, considering my busy schedule at this stage of my life and career, which is where most people are considering retiring.
Sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith and give all praise to the heavenly father for making a way out of no way. Now on to my first development project. Stay tuned.
