David has a way of handling stress with grace, challenges with thoughtful planning, and the people around him with genuine care and understanding. Today, Dee Thomasson of Long & Foster Woodbridge and Pat Kliewer of Prosperity Home Mortgage teamed up to host a Home Buyer Seminar for the employees of MTSI.

A huge shout-out to MTSI for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to talk with your employees about homeownership! From understanding the buying process to exploring financing options, Dee and Pat shared information, answered questions and helped make the path to homeownership clearer.

Long & Foster Market Update | Triangle | August 2026

For a community with a relatively small number of sales, Triangle delivered some big numbers this August.

Compared to a year ago, home values increased 38.46%, more homes sold, and new listings rose sharply. That's an encouraging combination, suggesting both buyer activity and seller confidence were stronger than they were last summer.

Of course, in a market where only a handful of homes sell each month, a few transactions can have an outsized impact on the statistics.

So what's the takeaway? Buyers and sellers were both active in August, and the market showed signs of healthy movement despite its smaller size.
