Short answer: not always.
In many cases, it can make more sense to leave the fun cosmetic updates to the buyer and focus on reducing the stressful unknowns.
Big-ticket items like roofs, HVAC, and well or septic systems often create hesitation, while finishes are personal and easy to change.
Often, reducing buyer stress matters more than creating a wow factor.

Only in Connecticut for a little over a year… and then Alaska called! These awesome clients bought this home with me in 2024, but after some work changes, the monthly commute to Alaska started to wear thin.
