What is a home renovation loan?
A home renovation loan gives homeowners access to funds that can be used to renovate, remodel, and repair their home.

Who should consider getting one?

If you don’t have enough liquid cash to fund renovations for your home, you might want to consider getting a home renovation loan. This type of loan may be helpful if you are purchasing a fixer-upper that needs serious work, or you want to build equity by making home improvements. (Side note: if you are looking to build the equity of your home by remodeling, start with bathrooms, kitchens, the backyard, and additions! These renovations are best to build the value of your home and have the greatest ROI)

Thinking about selling? Make your house look and feel bigger + brighter with some of my top tips!
1. Keep colors light and neutral

Bold patterns and colors can make a room feel smaller. Use light, neutral colors for a bright and airy feel!

2. Use mirrors

Mirror are one of the best ways to open up a room and make it feel more spacious!

3. Hang curtains

Curtains give the illusion that your ceilings are taller than they actually are, and since they draw your eye upwards, it makes the room feel bigger than it is.

4. Don’t have too much furniture

Too much furniture in your home makes the space look tight and crowded. Carefully place your furniture with room to walk around.

5. Correct rug size

Small rugs can make a room feel smaller and stuffier. Consider a large rug or put your rugs away if they aren't the right size!
