We put the finishing touches on a project today that we started back in May of this year. Originally we removed the stumps in the immediate area of where the barn was going to be located and rough graded that area flat to allow for the pier foundation to be installed and the barn to be erected. Once the base beams were installed, we backfilled the floor with stone dust. Over the course of the summer, our client had the barn erected, a well dug and power connected. They had the pasture fence installed before they acquired 5 Alpacas.

Over the last two days, we removed 6 large stumps with our Case CX55B Mini Excavator that were left behind by the land clearing company. We then graded the area around the front of the Alpaca Barn to promote proper drainage of roof water and surface water to pitch away from the building. We Harley raked out the the existing topsoil with our Cat 289D and the fine raked by hand the entire area in preparation for Hydroseed tomorrow.
