For Rebecca, Ultimissimo was so much more than a hair salon. It was a place she built with care, filled with conversations, friendships, familiar faces, and years of memories. As she closes this chapter, we know saying goodbye to a business that has been such a meaningful part of your life is never easy.
And the building itself has quite the story. Located at 112 Walnut Street in downtown Hudson, it is one of Hudson’s oldest commercial sites, dating back to before the Civil War. It was the only building in the business district to survive the Great Fire of 1866 and later became home to the Star & Times newspaper. Rebecca became owner of the historic property in 1998, and in 2002, the building’s facade was restored from its painted exterior back to the original brick and mortar of the late 1800s.
We’re grateful Rebecca and Brad trusted us to help them through this transition and honored to play a small part in the next chapter of a place that has meant so much to them and to downtown Hudson.
