Lake Elmo residents, consider this your heads up. 🚧

Starting Monday, June 22, construction will begin on Stillwater Boulevard as part of a water main replacement project near Lake Elmo Elementary.

Westbound traffic on Stillwater Blvd will be closed between 39th Street and Lake Elmo Avenue, but access to local businesses, side streets, and driveways will remain open.

The project is expected to last about two months, depending on weather.

If you live, work, or regularly drive through Lake Elmo, now is a good time to start planning alternate routes and give yourself a few extra minutes to get where you're going.

Nobody loves road construction, but the goal is to make getting around Lake Elmo a little easier when it's all said and done.
