This week was a wrap on celebrating all 2025 accomplishments with the Circle of Excellence Awards Ceremony. 2025 started off with a bang and by mid year it looked like I would have my best year yet.
I had sold the highest priced home in Hillsdale history at $1,875,000 - a number that people told me I would not get.
I was excited and on a tear, but the market quickly cooled off. People weren’t selling their homes, trading their existing mortgage rates for rates in the 6 or even 7% range. And my buyers were often drained and stressed out from the constant bidding wars with the 3 homes on market. To say it was a complete turnaround is not at all an exaggeration, but there is always something to learn. This was a reminder that nothing is promised. This business is tough, and no matter how good you think it’s going, it can always change. The struggle is real, and the hustle is a requirement. We have to remember to just keep swimming! Thank you to all my clients who took the ride with me - whether buying, selling, or renting - your belief in me is everything.

The New Hampshire estate where Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested in 2020 has sold, nearly a year after hitting the market. The 156-acre property in Bradford, where Maxwell had been hiding when FBI agents tracked her down, was originally listed for $2.5 million before being reduced to $2.37 million.

SOLD!!! When I sold this awesome townhouse to my buyer in 2019, I honestly wasn’t very familiar with the complex nor had I done a deal in Oakland, but I quickly fell in love. The units are so spacious with the most amazing views! So, getting a call that my client, Nicole, was ready to move on came as quite a shock, but it was all good things! She had gotten engaged and she and her fiancé, wanted to move on to a house with a yard for their dog and where they could garden. We listed the unit a little lower than they were hoping for, and they ended up with 3 buyers who REALLY wanted the unit and drove the price to numbers they had dreamed of. If they had listed their unit at the number they ended up closing at, it would have never happened. It’s so important to allow the professionals that you trust guide you and help you through this process. If they are a good realtor, with a strong track record, I promise they will do the right thing by you! Congratulations to my seller and threepeat client, Nicole! So happy for you!
