This week was a wrap on celebrating all 2025 accomplishments with the Circle of Excellence Awards Ceremony. 2025 started off with a bang and by mid year it looked like I would have my best year yet.
I had sold the highest priced home in Hillsdale history at $1,875,000 - a number that people told me I would not get.
I was excited and on a tear, but the market quickly cooled off. People weren’t selling their homes, trading their existing mortgage rates for rates in the 6 or even 7% range. And my buyers were often drained and stressed out from the constant bidding wars with the 3 homes on market. To say it was a complete turnaround is not at all an exaggeration, but there is always something to learn. This was a reminder that nothing is promised. This business is tough, and no matter how good you think it’s going, it can always change. The struggle is real, and the hustle is a requirement. We have to remember to just keep swimming! Thank you to all my clients who took the ride with me - whether buying, selling, or renting - your belief in me is everything.
