As we wrap up the final details at our Shoreline renovation, I can’t resist sharing a few more photos.

The kitchen is nearly there. It already looks incredible with European-style cabinets and custom Solitaj Quartz, but the toe-kick lighting, focused lighting over the range and sink, and the gorgeous appliance package will take it from beautiful to unforgettable. It’s those finishing touches that bring warmth, function, and personality to a space.

I’m also loving the details in the main bathroom, the dreamy laundry room, and one of my favorite features—a stylish solution for concealing the furnace and hot water tank while still making the space feel intentional and designed.

Another detail I’m especially excited about is the new guard rail and entry to the basement level. We designed it to feel like a natural extension of the main floor, carrying the same clean lines, thoughtful finishes, and welcoming character throughout the home.

Every corner of this home has been thoughtfully reimagined, and we’re down to the final punch list items, cleaning, and staging before the big reveal.

A few more details to finish, then it’s time to share the completed transformation.

Final Shoreline update before reveal week.

The basement is finally starting to come together, the custom privacy screen is up off the back of the house, and the detached garage now has its new torch down roof installed.

Still a long list ahead before next week — finish details, trim, touch-ups, lighting, appliances and final layers that bring the whole vision together.

These last stages are always the most demanding, but also where the personality of the home really starts to show.

🌟SHORELINE RENOVATION UPDATE!! From rickety white pickets to clean modern cedar.

This exterior transformation completely changes the feel of the property with newly built horizontal cedar fencing, custom cedar planter beds, and a much more intentional front entry experience. The updated fencing adds privacy, warmth, and a lot of curb appeal!

The oversized cedar planting beds help soften the concrete, create dimension across the front yard, and will eventually bring in layered landscaping to finish the space. A huge upgrade from the aging, unstable fencing that previously framed the property.

Sometimes the exterior details make just as much impact as the interior renovation. Stay tuned as we finish up the home renovation and continue to improve the curb appeal over the next few weeks!

Selection day.

Navigating the selection process with my creative friends at Evergreen Granite and Cabinets, and Flooring with Sisco, and bringing the vision to life—cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring… all the pieces finally coming together in one place. What started as ideas, sketches, and conversations turns into something tangible.

This is where the direction gets locked in. Where the details matter most. Where you can feel the finished home before construction even begins.

It’s one of the most important days in the entire process—and honestly, one of the most fun.

Vision matters.

This is my favorite stage of the project—reenvisioning the exterior to set the tone for the entire interior direction.
The existing exterior has a dated color palette, heavy trim contrast, and details that break up the elevation instead of simplifying it. Nothing structurally wrong—but no clear direction.

The plan: strip it back and rebuild with intention.
• Deep, modern body color to ground the home
• Warm wood accents to create a defined entry moment
• Black window trim + simplified railing for clean lines
• Updated door + lighting to elevate the entire façade

This isn’t just paint—it’s repositioning the property to compete at a higher level in the Shoreline market.

But getting in the field with an insulation specialist this week was a good reminder—there’s a whole layer of work that never gets seen, but matters just as much as the finishes.

Step by step, this home is coming together beautifully.

We move through the hallway showcasing new shaker doors and crisp trim, leading into the hall bath featuring a relaxing soaker tub and bespoke tile work designed to feel timeless and elevated.

In the primary suite, we added a custom closet organizer for everyday functionality, paired with new ceramic floor tile and a striking blue tiled shower that adds depth and character while keeping the space serene.

Downstairs, the home opens into a cozy family room and bonus room / office, anchored by a wood-burning fireplace — perfect for both workdays and relaxed evenings.

The tour finishes in the laundry room with an adjacent half bath, where finishes were thoughtfully upgraded to match the rest of the home for a seamless, cohesive feel.

Every detail matters — and it shows.
