Another Fritz Home Services project coming together in Bothell — and this one is for a repeat client, which makes it even more rewarding.

This one was a fun challenge. The client needed a new concrete parking pad, but getting the concrete to the work area wasn’t exactly straightforward. With the home sitting up the hill, we had to figure out the best way to get the concrete from the street to the pad efficiently and without creating unnecessary disruption around the property.

With the help of Quick & Easy Concrete Delivery, we came up with a smart solution and got the concrete exactly where it needed to go. A little problem-solving, good coordination, and the right team made it happen.

The result: a clean, functional new parking pad that gives the homeowner much better access and usability.

In about 24 hours, we’ll come back and cut in the control joints, also called contraction joints, to help manage normal shrinkage and cracking as the concrete cures. Then we’ll let the new parking pad continue curing over the next 30 days as it develops full strength.

We always appreciate the opportunity to work with returning clients and help them continue improving their homes one project at a time.

Some homes are more than a renovation — they hold years of memories, family history, and a story worth caring for. 🤍

We’ve been quietly working behind the scenes on the transformation of this beloved family home, beginning with the exterior. A fresh, thoughtfully chosen color palette brings out the home’s character while allowing it to settle beautifully into its natural woodland surroundings.

This renovation has been carefully planned in phases, with each one building on the last — from exterior improvements and site preparation, to interior demolition, and system updates, and eventually the finishes that will bring the entire vision together.

A lot of planning happens long before the prettiest parts of a renovation begin. Sequencing trades, making design decisions, sourcing materials, managing budgets, and anticipating what comes next are all part of creating a transformation that feels intentional from beginning to end.

The exterior is just the first glimpse of what’s ahead. Once the custom exterior lighting is installed, this home will truly shine — highlighting its character and creating a warm, welcoming presence after sunset. 🌿

As we wrap up the final details at our Shoreline renovation, I can’t resist sharing a few more photos.

The kitchen is nearly there. It already looks incredible with European-style cabinets and custom Solitaj Quartz, but the toe-kick lighting, focused lighting over the range and sink, and the gorgeous appliance package will take it from beautiful to unforgettable. It’s those finishing touches that bring warmth, function, and personality to a space.

I’m also loving the details in the main bathroom, the dreamy laundry room, and one of my favorite features—a stylish solution for concealing the furnace and hot water tank while still making the space feel intentional and designed.

Another detail I’m especially excited about is the new guard rail and entry to the basement level. We designed it to feel like a natural extension of the main floor, carrying the same clean lines, thoughtful finishes, and welcoming character throughout the home.

Every corner of this home has been thoughtfully reimagined, and we’re down to the final punch list items, cleaning, and staging before the big reveal.

A few more details to finish, then it’s time to share the completed transformation.

Final Shoreline update before reveal week.

The basement is finally starting to come together, the custom privacy screen is up off the back of the house, and the detached garage now has its new torch down roof installed.

Still a long list ahead before next week — finish details, trim, touch-ups, lighting, appliances and final layers that bring the whole vision together.

These last stages are always the most demanding, but also where the personality of the home really starts to show.

🌟SHORELINE RENOVATION UPDATE!! From rickety white pickets to clean modern cedar.

This exterior transformation completely changes the feel of the property with newly built horizontal cedar fencing, custom cedar planter beds, and a much more intentional front entry experience. The updated fencing adds privacy, warmth, and a lot of curb appeal!

The oversized cedar planting beds help soften the concrete, create dimension across the front yard, and will eventually bring in layered landscaping to finish the space. A huge upgrade from the aging, unstable fencing that previously framed the property.

Sometimes the exterior details make just as much impact as the interior renovation. Stay tuned as we finish up the home renovation and continue to improve the curb appeal over the next few weeks!

Selection day.

Navigating the selection process with my creative friends at Evergreen Granite and Cabinets, and Flooring with Sisco, and bringing the vision to life—cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring… all the pieces finally coming together in one place. What started as ideas, sketches, and conversations turns into something tangible.

This is where the direction gets locked in. Where the details matter most. Where you can feel the finished home before construction even begins.

It’s one of the most important days in the entire process—and honestly, one of the most fun.
