Happy Mother’s Day to the incredible women whose love, sacrifice, and strength continue to shape generations.

To my mom — thank you for sacrificing so much as a single parent to give me and my sister the best life possible. Your strength, resilience, and unconditional love mean more than words can express.

To the mother of my son — thank you for the love, care, and support you pour into our young king every single day. Your nurturing spirit is helping shape a beautiful soul.

And to my son’s grandmother — thank you for always being present, supportive, and loving throughout his growth and journey.

Being a father to my son has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I look at my son and feel nothing but gratitude…for his light, his love, and the way he unknowingly helps me heal parts of myself I didn’t know were still hurting. I thank God every day for trusting me with the gift of fatherhood…not just to raise a strong, kind, and a thoughtful young man, but to help heal the wounded boy still living inside of me.

I didn’t grow up with a father and never had a father figure in my life, and for a long time, that pain shaped how I saw myself and the world. But being present for my son has become the most powerful catalyst for healing from the trauma of growing up with an absent father. Through fatherhood, God has shown me that love can break generational chains. That presence can restore what absence once stole. That showing up for my son is also how I show up for the little boy I used to be. This journey is healing me in ways I never imagined…spiritually, emotionally, and deeply in my soul.

Happy Father’s Day to all the real ones out there — especially the ones breaking cycles and showing up with love. 🙏🏽❤️
