…and she takes you straight into a house that looks like it lost a fight with 1979. 😂

Lovey got the full experience today: major fixer upper, questionable life choices, and me saying “okay but hear me out…” in every room.

He has officially seen things no Lovey should ever have to see. 🫡🏚️

That feeling when you can’t stop thinking about how good the weekend was. One of those weekends that’s going to live in our core memory bank for a long time.

We started with camping + boondocking with the grandparents at the base of HoliMont in Ellicottville, NY.

If you’re into mountain biking, put this one on your list. It’s about 3 hours from Cleveland with lift-access downhill biking and great beginner-to-intermediate terrain.

But the best part was Cooper. He biked better than we’ve EVER seen him bike. So confident. So comfortable. Just sending it.

By that evening, he asked to try the training drops at the base. So naturally, there we were in Crocs and flannels before bedtime, hitting mountain bike drops as a family. 😂

And HE CRUSHED IT. Went for it, didn’t hesitate, and was so proud of himself. One of those random little moments we’ll remember forever.

On the way home: the Great Geauga County Fair for our yearly dose of fair food, games + rides.

Then Labor Day at Edgewater Beach with friends for the Cleveland National Air Show. Flyovers all day, the Blue Angels finale, sand, swimming + perfect beach weather.

We came home sun-cooked, exhausted and very happy.

Grateful for the big adventures, the local spots we get to call home, and the little moments in between. 🤍

Today felt big.

Not because I staged a house. I’ve been staging, decorating, designing and helping clients make decisions around their homes for years.

But this was the first time I pulled up to a completely vacant house with a trailer full of our own inventory and created the entire thing from scratch.

And for some reason, that felt different.

This is something I’ve wanted to do for years. I kept telling myself I didn’t have enough inventory yet, didn’t have enough space, didn’t have the logistics figured out, didn’t have enough time… basically every reason to keep waiting.

Eventually you have to stop waiting until you feel completely ready and just bet on yourself.

So we did.

And apparently we don’t know how to start small because we already have four stagings this month, with a possible fifth. 😂

The coolest part for me isn’t just getting to be creative. It’s having another tool that allows us to serve our sellers better.

We can walk into a home, look at it through the eyes of a buyer, identify what needs to change, create a plan, and now actually execute even more of that vision ourselves.

That’s what Northeast Ohio Living has always been about for us.
